Note: We reserve the right to remove anyone from the leaderboard who makes requests to have missed days added or claims excessive glitches. This is a free challenge. Please respect the spirit in which it is offered — to support writers in writing each day. We are unable to add days that you forgot to check-in.

If you’d like extra support, you can get the premium add-on and receive a fresh writing prompt in your inbox along with a convenient link to check-in on the leaderboard every day.
The Leaderboard is a page where you will check in to let us know you wrote your 100 words that day. All participants are listed on the Leaderboard along with their rising tally.
We will send you the link to the Leaderboard when the challenge begins on January 1st.
At the end of the year, you will be put into a raffle to win prizes! You will be eligible for different prizes based on how many days you wrote in the year.
Winners will be announced in the January 1st, 2027 newsletter.
