Siren Tales:
A Women's Writing Workshop
the heart of the matter
Like meditation, writing is a practice, and when we stay out of the result and surrender to the process, magic happens. Sometimes life gets in the way. Sometimes we get distracted and the thing that is most important takes a backseat to the things that feel most urgent.
Siren Tales: A Women’s Writing Workshop is a weekly 2-hour gathering of eight dedicated women (and for all who identify as she/her) who come together to write and share their work in a creative and supportive environment that deepens over time. Siren Tales is a commitment to your writing. It is your place to connect, to grow, to take risks, and to soar.
Writers meet once a week live on Zoom for stream-of-consciousness writing exercises, sharing works-in-progress, and one-on-one feedback with instructor/facilitator Mary-Beth Manning.
daily connection
Each morning you will receive a daily writing prompt in your inbox. You are free to write on the prompt and share it with your fellow writers in the private group forum.
goal setting
Each workshop ends with setting personal and creative goals for the week, so that each writer can stay on task and hold herself accountable to her goals.
